Third-Party Service Providers
BraceAbility contracts other companies to perform functions on our behalf, such as processing credit card payments, order fulfillment, delivering packages, sending mail, providing search results, and marketing products. These third-party providers have access to only the personal information that is necessary to perform the function that is contracted.
We do, however, share aggregated statistical information with our partners regarding sales statistics. This is not linked to any personally identifiable information.
Online Advertising
We may use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. For more information about how targeted advertising works, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative’s educational page. Modifying or Deleting Personal Information
If a user's personally identifiable information changes (such as your phone, email or postal address), or if a user no longer desires our service, we provide a way to correct, update or delete/deactivate that user's personally identifiable information provided to us. This can usually be done at the Your Account page or by using our Support feature on our Contact Us page.
Uses of Information for Marketing
If you supply BraceAbility your email address or phone number while ordering a product(s), you may be contacted via email or SMS regarding your order(s); we do not, however, share customer or visitor email addresses or phone numbers with other organizations.

Security of Personal Information
BraceAbility takes all appropriate and reasonable steps to protect all information you share with us from unauthorized access or disclosure. Of course, when entering sensitive information on the Website we use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) to encrypt the transmission of your information. As you enter personal information (such as your password or address and phone number), SSL encodes it so that it is available only to you and the customer service representatives who will help make sure your order processes smoothly.
An SSL-protected page can be identified by the picture of a closed lock at the bottom or top of the web browser. Also, if you check the URL of the page, SSL-encrypted pages have URLs that start with “https://” instead of “http://”. Please understand that it is possible for third parties to access information despite our security efforts. You are fully responsible for taking precautions best suited for you and your use of our Website.
Retention of Information
BraceAbility retains personal information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes previously outlined in this Privacy Policy. Using Information for Other Purposes
If we are going to use your personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection, we will notify you via email. You will have a choice as to whether or not we use your information in this different manner.
However, if you have opted out of all communication with the site, or deleted/deactivated your account, then you will not be contacted. Nor will your personal information be used in this new manner.
In addition, if we make any material changes in our privacy practices that do not affect user information already stored in our database, we will post a prominent notice on our Website notifying users of the change. In some cases where we post a notice, we will also email users, who have opted to receive communications from us, notifying them of the changes in our privacy practices. We will use information in accordance with the Privacy Policy under which the information was collected.
Changes to our Privacy Policy
We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our business. When we post modifications to this Privacy Policy, we will change the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
