Product Description

The Ultimate Post-Op Shoe: Your Path to a Speedy Fracture Recovery!

Your foot surgery was a significant step towards a pain-free life, but did you know that freely moving around too soon can jeopardize the repairs your skilled surgeon meticulously performed? That's where our post-operative recovery solution comes in.

Regain Mobility, Protect, and Support

Unlike ordinary shoes, our foot boot brace is specifically designed to provide unmatched mobility, protection, and support during your day-to-day activities following toe and foot injuries or surgeries.

Built to Handle Anything

Whether you're dealing with broken toes, bunions, hammer toes, Lisfranc fractures, Plantar fasciitis, heel fractures, Morton’s neuroma, or even a 5th metatarsal break, our post-op shoe has got you covered. It's the ultimate all-in-one solution for your recovery needs!

Accelerate Your Healing Process

We understand that fully healing goes beyond immobilization. That's why our post-op shoe sets the stage for a holistic recovery journey. As you progress, it will seamlessly adapt to your needs, ensuring you regain strength, flexibility, and balance without reinjury in your affected foot, ankle, or leg.

Embrace the Future of Recovery

It's time to bid farewell to outdated solutions. Unlike rigid casts, or flimsy splints, our post-op walking boots are engineered to meet the highest standards of comfort, durability, and performance.

Enhanced Recovery for Toe and Foot Injuries: When Should a Post-op Medical Shoe Be Worn?

This broken toe shoe was specifically designed to provide mobility, protection, and support for day-to-day activities following toe and foot injuries or surgeries, including:

  • Broken toes
  • Bunions
  • Hammer toes
  • Lisfranc fractures
  • Plantar fasciitis
  • Heel fractures
  • Morton’s neuroma
  • 5th metatarsal break

We recommend our short, cam walking boot or air walker after you sprain or break or ankle. For these boots provide compression and stabilization around your ankle. Depending on how tall you are, as well as the location and severity of your ankle injury, a tall walking boot might be ideal compared to short walking boot. Anybody 6’ or taller should purchase a tall walking boot for proper support, protection, and immobilization of their foot and ankle. In addition to ankle sprains and fractures, tall walking boots can help with some lower leg fractures.

The Ultimate Orthopedic Walking Shoe for Broken Toes: Top 5 Reasons Why People Are Absolutely Loving It

Living with a broken foot is no walk in the park, but fear not! This post-operative walking shoe offers unbeatable support and protection after a foot fracture or plantar surgery. Here are the outstanding features that make this post-op shoe a good choice in comparison to other surgical shoes on the market:

  1. Wide Footbed and Square Toe Design for Optimal Comfort and Support

Say goodbye to cramped and constricted feelings, as this shoe embraces your foot with a spacious, accommodating fit. The wide footbed of this foot fracture shoe ensures ample space for your foot to rest and breathe.

Our square-toe design acts as a reliable bumper, providing an extra layer of safeguarding for your toes. No more worries about painful rubbing or discomfort, especially for your pinky and big toe. Plus, thanks to the squared footbed, you have the flexibility to wear it on either your left or right foot—truly a footwear solution that adapts to you.

  2. Step Into Luxury with the Deluxe EVA Foam Insole

Soft, padded lining along the inner portion of the shoe and a lightweight foam insole makes this broken foot cast shoe comfortable during extended periods of use.

The EVA material our insoles are made of is a dense foam polymer known as Ethylene Vinyl Acetate. The durable material has a superior shock-absorbing quality, making our flat-bottomed shoe for broken toes ideal to walk or stand on. The insole on this post-surgical shoe can be removed, which is convenient for instances where use of a pressure-relieving insole or arch support is needed. Plus, the padded heel area of this particular post-op shoe helps prevent slippage.

  3. Embrace Practical Recovery with the Rigid Rocker Sole and Non-Skid Tread

Our stiff-soled shoe for broken foot care features a hard, rocker sole and traction tread. The rocker-bottom sole provides support, relieving pain and pressure on the forefoot, heel, and ankle during recovery. It promotes a natural gait and ease of movement. The non-slip traction grooves ensure stability and prevent re-injury, making walking safer. The durable tread on the bottom of our walking shoe also helps provides essential traction to prevent slips and falls, especially on slippery surfaces like ice or snow. Experience comfort and confidence in every step with our metatarsal shoe.

  4. Customized Support with Adjustable Features

Three customizable fastener straps help accommodate post-surgical bulk, bandaging, and swelling after a foot or toe injury. Immediately after surgery, you will need more space due to swelling and dressings. But eventually, you will no longer need bandaging, and inflammation will subside. You can simply tighten and trim the straps on this post-op foot surgery shoe as this occurs. Plus, the fastener straps are medical-grade, making them ten times stronger than other retailers such as Walgreens or CVS.

This orthopedic surgical shoe is available in both women's and men's versions. While the women's post-op shoe offers a slightly narrower fit, both versions are thoughtfully designed to cater to diverse needs. No matter your gender, find the perfect fit for your recovery journey.

  5. Enhance Your Mobility with a Low-Profile and Lightweight Fit

A semi-open style and airflow-friendly material make these post-op medical sandals more breathable for all-day comfort. This surgical walking shoe has a relatively low-profile fit, allowing users to remain active and independent throughout the recovery process and continue daily activities such as driving, for example.

Step-by-Step Recovery: How Long to Wear a Post-Op Shoe After a Broken Toe

The duration of wearing a post-op shoe after a broken toe can vary depending on several factors, including the severity of the injury and the recommendations of your healthcare professional. Typically, the initial phase of recovery involves wearing the post-op shoe for a specific period to provide the necessary support and protection to the injured toe. This phase may last for a few weeks or as directed by your healthcare provider.

As your toe heals and you progress through the recovery process, your healthcare professional will guide you on gradually reducing the duration of wearing the post-op shoe. It is crucial to follow their instructions and gradually transition to normal footwear to avoid setbacks. Remember, every individual's healing process is unique, so consulting with your healthcare professional is essential in determining the specific duration for wearing the post-op shoe and achieving a successful recovery.

99.9% great

The footbed on these shoes are great; they accommodate a wide range of foot widths. Specific to me, I have very wide feet and my injured toe is properly protected. The velcro on the upper strap does come in a bit short. It adjusts fine but barely

This shoe saved me!

I fractured my big toe a month ago and I'm still wearing this shoe. It has allowed my toe to heal and it's still the only shoe that feels good to walk in. I'm so glad I bought it.

Orthopedic Surgical Walking Shoe

I use a foot/ankle brace and this shoe lets me wear both at the same time. Regular shoes won't accommodate the brace.

Recovery from bunion surgery

Very satisfied with shoe. 5 weeks after surgery I needed an alternative to knee high walking boot when I was at home. Easier to get in and out of. Glad I found it and it was much more comfortable and convenient.
