features that make this padded plantar fasciitis night splint the bestAlleviate Pain & Boost Healing: Padded Sleeping Boot for Plantar Fasciitis Treatment

Plantar fasciitis usually strikes with a vengeance when taking your first steps in the morning.

The stabbing pain stems from the inflammation of a thick band of tissue known as your plantar fascia, which stretches across the bottom of your foot, connecting your heel bone to your toes. Repeated stretching or tearing of this shock-absorbing tissue or overloading it can lead to small tears, irritating the fascia and causing inflammation.

Wearing a boot at night can prevent your plantar fascia, Achilles tendon, and calf muscles from tightening, making for a more pleasant experience when you get out of bed.

Supporting a neutral foot position, this soft orthopedic night splint reduces irritation and pain caused by foot conditions including:

4 Reasons You'll Love This Night Splint for Foot Drop, Achilles Tendonitis, Plantar Fasciitis & More

This bedtime brace gently stretches your plantar fascia so you can start the day pain-free. Following is a list of the features that make this one of the best solutions for the treatment of plantar fasciitis and other common foot conditions.

  1. Ultra Soft Padded Lining

The drawback to many splints for plantar fasciitis is that they can be uncomfortable and interfere with your sleep, which is counterproductive when it comes to healing.

However, our splint is generously padded with breathable foam and covered with an ultra-soft material for optimal comfort. Removable for washing, the extra soft lining eliminates skin irritations, preventing blisters and abrasions.

Note: Even if it isn’t entirely comfortable to sleep in compared to nothing, it’s important to wear it regularly in order for your foot to heal properly.

  2. Removable Foam Stretch Wedge

Holding your ankle in gentle dorsiflexion, this splint keeps your foot at a 90-degree angle to your leg. For an even greater stretch, you can add the soft, foam insert, which elevates your foot to relieve inflammation and increase comfort.

This wedge attaches via fastener to the toe area of the plantar fascia support and adds an additional 5 inches of stretch.

The dorsiflexion position that this plantar fascia pain splint holds your foot in also makes it a good treatment option for other foot conditions, such as foot drop, Achilles tendonitis, or heel spurs.

  3. Versatile Design

Sized for both men and women, the comfortable night splint can be used on either your left or right foot, with or without a sock. This splint is easy to put on and strap up in bed or while sitting down, making your nighttime routine quick and easy.

  4. Three Wide Adjustable Straps

The soft night boot is secured with three medical-grade fasteners. These wide, adjustable straps allow you to adjust the tightness of the brace to your own specifications, securing your foot at a 90-degree angle.

Outside of the straps, the front of the boot for plantar fasciitis is open, which enhances the breathability of the support.

Better for plantar issues than for Achilles

It’s comfortable and well-made and easy to use. To keep the foot at a 90° angle for Achilles treatment I think it needs another strap. It was a good sleep alternative to the very bulky walking boot.

Padded night time boot

If you have a larger calf, then the top strap will require more of a sideways angle then just straight around. Works great, mostly comfortable, haven't tried walking on it at night though because I have rugs in the bathroom and that's the main reason I get up.
